- *The course fee covers tuition, a teacher training manual, a Shiva Yoga bag, a Shiva Yoga t-shirt, unlimited filtered drinking water, a welcome dinner, accommodation with meals, WiFi, room cleaning, and access to the Yoga Teacher Training Curriculum.
- Karma Yoga is mandatory for all participants.
- No refunds, credits, or transfers are offered for cancellations after the start date of any Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC) or retreat.
- The course fee does not include travel insurance or flight tickets.
- Course Details:
- Each course includes two batches with a capacity of 15–20 students:
- Batch 1: Beginners (100, 200 hours and retreat students)
- Batch 2: Advanced (200, 300 hours and intermediate students)
- If total enrollment is below 20 students, the courses will be combined.
- Separate classes are conducted for anatomy, philosophy, Ayurveda, adjustment, and alignment for Batch 1 and Batch 2 students. Asana practice, outings, and workshops are combined.
- Program Highlights:
- Shiva Yoga’s program focuses on developing skilled and motivated yoga teachers.
- The course begins on the 2nd of every month unless enrolled in the Flexible TTC.
- WiFi is accessible throughout the campus.
- Taxi and laundry services are available on request for an additional charge.
- Payment Options: Bring cash in any currency (preferred). PayPal and swipe machine payments incur a 10% transaction fee, while other payment methods follow standard charges.
- Accommodation and Meals:
- The package includes accommodation for the entire course, with one complimentary night either before the start date or on the final day.
- Meals are provided throughout the course, including a welcome and farewell dinner, and unlimited filtered water (excluding Sundays).
- Early arrivals or extended stays may be eligible for discounted rates based on availability.
- No adjustments are made to accommodation or meal charges for late arrivals or early departures.
- Refunds and Adjustments:
- All package fees are non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable after the student joins the course.
- The course fee, including the 300 EURO deposit, is non-refundable and non-transferable to another individual but may be applied to a future date or course with Shiva Yoga.

- Things to Carry at Shiva Yoga:
- Your own or provided yoga mat.
- Loose-fitting yoga attire and white clothing for ceremonies.
- A refillable water bottle, notebook, and pen.
- Essentials like toiletries, towels, a light jacket/shawl, and lightweight/dry-fit clothes.
- Additional items: flashlight, mosquito repellent, international adapter, vitamins, medications, earbuds, and small towels for yoga practice.
- Rules and Regulations at Shiva Yoga
- General Rules:
- Quiet Hours: Gates close, and lights out by 10 PM. Silence is required afterward.
- Refund Policy: No refunds or compensation for any reason.
- Class Schedule: Fixed schedules; no changes based on personal preferences.
- Experience Comparison: Avoid comparing with other schools or past experiences.
- Daily Operations:
- Silent Mornings: No phone usage until breakfast.
- Graduation Requirement: Students must meet grading criteria for certification.
- Dormitory Etiquette:
- Use headphones to avoid disturbing others.
- Eating inside dorms is prohibited.
- Behavioral Standards:
- Smoking, drinking, and inappropriate behavior are strictly prohibited; violations result in immediate removal.
- Keep personal belongings safe; Shiva Yoga is not responsible for lost items.
- Maintain cleanliness in shared spaces.

- Taxi and laundry services incur extra charges.

- Community Rules:
- Visitors are not allowed on the premises.
- A minimum of 90% attendance is required unless absent due to illness.
- The environment is substance-free; discussions about alcohol or drugs are prohibited.
- Only vegetarian meals are served; notify staff of dietary needs.
- Respect the shared space, positivity, and personal boundaries within the Shala.

What happens after I book?
Right away you’ll get a confirmation email from Retreat Guru with a recap of what you booked.
Within 48 hours, you’ll get a second message, this one will be from the host of your retreat. They may request that you fill out a medical questionaire, have a call with them or do additional screening. In the unlikely scenario that you don’t pass the additional screening, you’ll be fully refunded.
Once you get final confirmation from your retreat host, go ahead and book your transportation to the retreat and get ready for your transformative experience. -
Should I wait for a confirmation before booking my flight?
